What We Believe

At Liberty Ranch Calvary Chapel, our faith is grounded in God’s Word and centered on Jesus Christ. Below are the core truths we believe and live by:

  • We believe the Bible — all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments — is the inspired Word of God. It is without error in the original writings and stands as God’s complete and final revelation.

    See: Matthew 5:18; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21; Revelation 22:18–19

  • There is only one true God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in nature and worthy of all worship.

    See: Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:1–3

  • Jesus Christ is God the Son, the promised Messiah. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, He is fully God and fully man, without sin, and the only mediator between God and humanity.

    See: Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1–3, 14; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Timothy 2:5; Colossians 2:9

  • Through His death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for sin and satisfied the justice of God, offering redemption and forgiveness to all who believe. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now intercedes for us as our Advocate and High Priest. One day He will return to establish His Kingdom on earth.

    See: Isaiah 53:5–6; John 3:16; Acts 1:6–11; Romans 3:21–26; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8; Revelation 20:6

  • The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, gives new life, and indwells every believer. He seals, teaches, guides, equips, and empowers us to walk in obedience and bear fruit for God’s glory.

    See: John 14:16–17, 26; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9, 14; Galatians 5:16–18, 22–23; Ephesians 1:13–14

  • We believe God created man in His own image. Through disobedience, man fell into sin, bringing spiritual death and separation from God. Every person is born with this sinful nature and cannot save themselves apart from Christ.

    See: Genesis 1:26–28; Romans 3:10, 23; Ephesians 2:1–3

  • Salvation is God’s free gift of grace, received by personal faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through works, rituals, or merit. Jesus’ death and resurrection provide eternal life to all who believe, and those who are saved are secure in Him forever.

    See: John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–10; 1 John 5:11–13

  • Those who belong to Christ enter His presence immediately upon death and will be raised to eternal life at the resurrection. Those who reject Christ face eternal separation from God.

    See: Daniel 12:2; Luke 23:43; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Revelation 20:11–15

  • All believers are united by the Holy Spirit into one spiritual body — the Church — with Christ as the Head. We are called to gather in local churches for worship, teaching, fellowship, and service under the leadership of pastors and deacons.

    See: Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:11–12

  • We practice two ordinances given by Jesus: Baptism (by immersion for believers, as a public declaration of faith) and The Lord’s Supper (a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross). Both are to be observed until He returns.

    See: Matthew 28:19–20; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–29

  • We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and bodily for His Church. After a time of tribulation and final judgment, He will establish His Kingdom and reign for a thousand years, after which believers will enter into eternal glory with Him, and the unsaved will face eternal separation.

    See: John 14:2–3; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17; Titus 2:11–13; Revelation 19:11–21; 20:1–15; 21:1–4
